Excusing myself from raiding

As Lib pointed out to me a bit ago, tonight's the third time I've failed to show up for a raid I'd signed up for. Although the other two times I had something come up last minute, tonight I just flat-out forgot. My job has me working seven days a week at various hours. It's summer so the kids are home all day long. I am fucking tired, lol.
So although my intent was to try and help with raid leading, it's just not happening. I have too much going on IRL to raid at the times our raids are scheduled. The time I do have to play any kind of game tends to be late at night, and that doesn't work out when raids are at 6pm my time. Especially when most days I am not even done with work until after 6pm.
I'm going to remove myself from the rest of the raiding schedule until MoP. If that seems flaky or if anyone's disappointed, so be it. As much as I want to help out, right now life just isn't working out so that I can.
In case I don't get a chance to log in and remove my self from the in-game calendar, I'm posting it here so people are forewarned. I think the group that is raiding has things well under control that I don't need to be there anyway, so I think you all should continue to focus on heroic progression and running alts/mains the rest of the week. As we get closer to MoP's release, we'll put together a raiding plan for the expansion so we can get off to a good start.
Sorry guys and thanks for understanding. :-/

!
Well excuuuUUUuuuuUUUUUUUUUUUse you, Princess.
Who are you again? I don't
Who are you again? I don't recall meeting you.
See ya
What you lost in a kickass healer the guild has gained in a craptastic melee dps who isn't worth the battle rezzes that get wasted on him. Where one athlete falls, I shall stand to pick up the torch and carry it like a drunken hobo with a peg-leg and an arthritic hip, wildly swinging in the air at birds only I can see. And as I stumble into a pile of hurty things that I shouldn't be standing in, the other raiders will look upon my greatness and say "oh christ, Rejad died again."
So enjoy your time away and rest assured knowing that you've left the guild in terrible, terrible hands.
Seems Legit
Sounds like Natural Order to me. ;p
If I am allowed
I would gladly help out with leading the Alt raids, I know that Lib is pretty much the most active of the higher ups and a lot has seemed to piled onto her plate since the rest are taking their WoW breaks. I am not saying Lib is doing a terrible job at all, in fact she is doing a great job at making sure we are able to go and people get to see heroics. I know that Groz is always availble via Mumble during the day, but he usually goes on the main raid for heroics with us for his super healing wizardy. I know the fights well (for normal mode, and bits of Heroic). Seeing how my schedule is clear for a while, I dont work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, I am usually on and maybe I could be of some use. But I also DO NOT want to step on the toes of the officers unless it's Groz, cause he doesn't count (and Groz if you are reading this, here....U MAD BRA? QQ MORE). Also Im not seeking to take an officer position by any means, I would just like to help make sure that us goofballs try our best to not make our raiding officer(s) go crazy.
And good luck with your real life Iky, those are hard to come by! :D

I think we always appreciate
I think we always appreciate people taking initiative, and I don't see a problem with you helping out with raiding. I would suggest talking to Lib since she's more or less taken over raid leader duties in Seth's absence and see if you two can coordinate something. And thanks for the kind words! :)
Will do
Sure!, I will totally talk to Lib about it, assuming no one else already. If she wants to lead both more power to her.
