BOE Epics that drop in current tier raids are to be dealt using the following policy....

1) Those in raid may roll on the BOE's for themselves or any of their alts, and use their EPGP to acquire the item.

2) Any BOE that is not rolled will be placed in the guild bank, in the elder tab of the guild bank for any other guildie.

3) IF someone of Seeker rank or higher wants the BOE they must adjust their own EPGP for acquiring the item. If we need to police this by having a Loremaster only tab for things like this and the Loremaster adjusts the EPGP we will do so. At this point we ask that the Pathfinder, Elder, or Loremaster who loots said item, for themselves, or for another member of the guild, adjusts the EPGP for them.

3a) Prospects who were not in the raid when the BOE drops may not take BOE Epics from the bank. If the Prospect is in the raid, and they have priority they may loot the item. They just can't take it from the bank after the fact.

4) BOE Epics are for use and improvement of the guild, not for resale. Looting or taking an BOE Epic from the bank, even if you spend EPGP on the item, must be equipped and soulbound to your character. They are not to be sold in Trade, or to a friend, or on the AH. The guild as a whole obtained the item, and it is for guild advancement, not personal profit. Selling a BOE Epic obtained in a guild raid in any of these ways is grounds for an immediate /gkick.

5) These rules apply only to current tier. you may spend EPGP to loot a previous raiding tier gear and sell it on the AH or in Trade or to a friend. 2 tiers back and more are need/greed rules and these you may also loot and sell at your discretion. The above rules apply only to current tier gear.

This is certainly a

This is certainly a reasonable policy, but you might consider not storing things for more than a day or two in the guild bank at this point. We're quickly approaching the expected release of Cata, and at that point, it's going to be scrap. We would probably benefit more from selling them for the guild coffers in expectation of newer content, and possible expenses related to the new guild system.

yeah

I wanted the main policy to be something we could move forward with (ie current tier not ICC)....But yeah now that we're getting close, maybe hold things for a week, announce them to guild, and then sell em a week later and put the gold in the guild bank isn't a bad idea.
