- A group of cats is called a clowder or a clutter - If they are cats a mother cat has just had...a "litter" - Most cats live solitary lives with the exception of lions. In this case it would be called a pack or pride. -a large group of cats can be called a clan
So technically cats are not a herd. Unless you're trying to form up ICC 25.
I had several cats lost some when we had our house fire. Got down to only 1 cat named Hogger big orange Garfield looking guy, but not sure what happened to him but he got sick and died this summer. We now have no cats in the house but i do have a mess of them outside.
We have a whole litter of 9 cats, taking care of 2 for my friend for the past few months, we brought one mama kitty in and turned out she was pregnant with 3 new ones lol
Ok, I only have 1 at the moment IRL. I have all the non-combat cats in WoW. But the real reason I deserve this badge is that in both Western and Eastern astrology I was born under cat signs (lion and tiger.)
I own 2 cats, Ginny and Merry. Ginny has an attitude problem and like to randomly scratch people. Merry had pneumonia as a kitten and so she now has bad ballance (I think her inner ears are messed up) and very little depth perception. She is always bumping into things when she tries to jump.
My sister, who lives with me, brought a cat with her when she moved in. So 3 total in the house.
Panda cat that is sneaky and attacks toes. And the Brooks cat that sits in his tuxedo wanting to play fetch with all 15 toys he brings me while I try to play wow.
Our first cat, Dark Nation, used to be big into fetch, until we got our second cat, Emeralda, who (like all good little sisters) completely ruined his life and sucked all the joy and fun out of his life. She intruded on one of his fetch games and he refused to play it after that.
When I was in residency rotating through infectious diseases, I watched one of the fellow's taking a medical history from a new patient...30-something year-old man with some new issues. The doctor asked him about pets and cats in particular. After the interview, the doctor asked me why he asked about cats. I talked about toxoplasmosis and bartonella (cat scratch disease).
He said, "no. I asked because a single man with a cat is pathognomonic for HIV infection." He was right.
Hm.. well, shortly before this badge was introduced, one of my cats died dropping me down to only one. But we have a replacement, now..
(note: this is not actually the bloody grey idiot, but they all look exactly the same so it's close enough. Mine is about three times the weight for the same size, for one thing.)
I haz two
but I'll pass on the badge. -.-
I nominate Firk
for this badge! :P
huh?
This badge should just be a cut and paste of her avatar. =D
I only have three
which pales in comparison to Warfury's herd. My kittehs are my furry little dumplings, so yeah, I deserve it all right ;p
Don't cats
travel in packs or prides or something? Murder? Kiss? I dunno, but I don't think it's herds.
Answers.com says this

-a large group of cats can be called a clan

Catcluttering?
just doesn't have the same ring to it.
That's what you get
at my house when you're trying to either 1) do something involving turkey/chicken or 2) take a nap.
And yeah, catclowdering? Clowder sounds like something I'd ask Tuvasi to unleash upon Relm multiple times. ;p
Cat Clowder
... sounds delicious
Meeee!
I have three of my own, and I live in a house with 8 total. :D
Me too!
Kastiell and I have two kittehs of our own, and a stray that seems to have adopted us =)

He only did that until I had no remotes left, at that point he was out of his chewing phase...for the most part...
